Dan Finkelman

Mr. Finkelman is a Senior Executive with over 25 years of progressively responsible, successful experience in Fortune 1000 corporations, including as member of Board of Directors and Compensation Committee, with additional, extensive not-for-profit Board and Leadership experience.

Dan FinkelmanDan has consistently led efforts to establish strategic/business planning, marketing, and corporate development activities where these functions were new or significantly under-developed in the organization. He has significant industry experience in Retail (specialty apparel, personal care, grocery, home improvement), Healthcare Distribution, Credit, and Marketing Services.

Most recently, Dan was Executive Vice President for Corporate Development & Innovation at Alliance Data Systems in Dallas, Texas. Dan reported to the Chairman/CEO and President/COO, and was a member of the Executive Committee.

Prior to that, Dan was Senior Vice President, Brand and Business Planning for LimitedBrands, Inc. There, he had enterprise responsibility for Strategic Planning, Brand Growth planning, Customer Relationship Marketing, Brand Management, and Market & Customer Research, for this $10 billion specialty retailer. While with LimitedBrands, Inc. he reported to the Chairman/CEO.

Dan was also Executive Vice President, Marketing at Cardinal Health, Inc.  In addition to being the Senior Marketing executive for this $10 billion pharmaceutical wholesaler Dan also had P & L responsibility for National PharmPak Services, a $300 million repackaging company. While with Cardinal Health Dan reported to the President/COO.

The basis for Dan's professional career was formulated at McKinsey & Company, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio. Dan was a Partner and was responsible for client development and leadership of world-wide client engagement teams in the areas of business strategy, marketing strategy, organization and operations. He was Co-Leader of Firm’s Marketing Practice. Dan founded and provided worldwide leadership for McKinsey's Customer Service and Satisfaction Practice.

Dan holds an M.B.A. degree from Harvard University. He holds a B.A. from Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa, where he graduated with honors, including Phi Beta Kappa and Mortarboard societies with a degree in History and Economics.

Dan has been published in numerous publications, such as the Harvard Business Review and is a member of several corporate, civic and charitable boards.
